Grateful I found this company!
I’m grateful I found this company! They answer the phone every time plus the parts are packaged very well!! Even the angriest mailman couldn’t damage your parts! lol The parts showed up as planned and for being aftermarket the quality seems to be good!! The warranty is the same as CAT. Thank you Daniel!!!
Having issue running my credit card, Steven was more than helpful to send me a payment link to complete my transaction!

Prompt , knowledgeable and friendly service.
I would give 5 stars but my first time ordering from here and using aftermarket parts. The price is reasonable comparing to original Cat parts and the customer support is great and hoping to do more business with them
Product Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the 1757162 dryer and what does it do on CAT equipment?
The 1757162 dryer is an air drying component used in the pneumatic or HVAC systems of several Caterpillar machines including the 3408, 3406, C15, C18, 988H, D8T, 120H, and D11T. It removes moisture from compressed air lines, protecting valves, actuators, and air-operated systems from corrosion and freeze damage.
Which Caterpillar machines use this dryer?
The 1757162 is used across a broad range of machines including the 3408, 3406, C15, C18, 988H, D8T, 120H, and D11T. If you are unsure whether this dryer fits your specific machine serial number range, reach out to Propel Parts ??? our team will be happy to help you verify if this part fits your equipment.
How do I know if the dryer on my machine needs replacing?
Signs of a failing dryer include moisture in air lines or brake systems, increased corrosion in pneumatic components, air system pressure irregularities, or indicator changes on machines equipped with a desiccant saturation warning. Replace the dryer as part of scheduled maintenance or when symptoms appear.
Can I use a high-quality aftermarket dryer on these CAT engines?
Yes. A premium aftermarket dryer that meets or exceeds OEM specifications will perform reliably in these applications. Propel Parts stocks aftermarket replacements verified against CAT SIS to ensure correct dimensional and functional match for the listed models.
Is special tooling required to replace the 1757162 dryer?
Dryer replacement typically requires basic hand tools, but the exact procedure depends on the machine and installation location. Refer to the appropriate CAT service manual for removal and installation steps, torque specs, and safety precautions ??? especially where pressurized air systems are involved.
Does the dryer come with any sealing components?
This depends on the specific application and how the dryer mounts. In many service jobs, associated O-rings or gaskets should also be replaced at the same time. You can find a full range of compatible seals and gaskets to cover any related sealing needs during this service.
