Customer Follow-Up After Delivery:
Thank you Deb and your colleague Anthony A for your help in supplying a replacement part which arrived in good time and is running smoothly.
I shall continue to use your services and recommend you to other remote miners, as your services and delivery times are better than our home-based suppliers.
With thanks again.

I almost want to cry ;( writing this review because I dont want people to find out about them and rather keep them in my pocket but they deserve it…
This company is great with Quality Products at amazing prices! Sometimes, their website is not the most accurate but is user friendly and if you got questions they will call back and are very prompt in responding via a call or text to verify inventory before placing an order.
I really appreciate and look forward to continuing to work with you all especially Anthony — he is amazing & the best!!!
Customer Service.
I recently had to cancel an order with Propel Parts, and I was thoroughly impressed by the prompt and efficient service I received. Steven handled my request with professionalism and speed, ensuring a hassle-free process. I've purchased parts from Propel Parts before and have never been disappointed. Their consistent reliability and excellent customer service keep me coming back.
Having issue running my credit card, Steven was more than helpful to send me a payment link to complete my transaction!
Very knowledgeable and quick to quote parts.
Very quick to respond to parts quotes. Knowledgeable and Polite, and very quick shipping. Definitely will purchase parts from these guys in the future.
Everything fine, thank you. The only thing with which I had a problem in your Software, is that when I have more than 10 different items on the list, I can't scroll to the first ones. But besides that, I am very happy in going on with buying your parts.
Quick Respond.
The quick respond much appreciated.
Keep this up.

Product Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Caterpillar 8T5439 Hard Washer used for?
The 8T5439 is a hardened washer used in Caterpillar equipment to distribute bolt or nut clamping loads across a larger surface area, preventing embedment into softer base materials and maintaining proper fastener clamp force in structural and mechanical assemblies.
How do I know if the 8T5439 Washer needs to be replaced?
Replace the washer if it shows visible deformation, cupping, cracking, or corrosion that could compromise its load-bearing ability. Hardened washers are low-cost wear items and should be replaced whenever fasteners are removed during service.
Is the 8T5439 Hard Washer compatible with my Caterpillar machine?
Check your equipment's service or parts manual for the correct washer specification. If you are still unsure, reach out to Propel Parts our team will be happy to help you verify if this part fits your equipment.
What makes a hardened washer different from a standard washer?
- A hardened washer is made from heat-treated steel with a significantly higher surface hardness than a standard washer.
- This prevents it from deforming under high clamping forces, which is critical in heavy equipment applications where fastener preload must remain consistent under vibration and shock loads.
Is the 8T5439 a high-quality aftermarket part?
Yes, this is a high-quality aftermarket washer manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications for hardness, dimensions, and material grade, ensuring it performs just like the original Caterpillar hard washer.
What warranty does the 9R9401 Disc include?
It is covered by a 1-year unlimited mileage warranty and Propel Parts' 30-day no-hassle return policy. No core charge applies, and same-day shipping is available for weekday orders placed before 3:00 PM ET.
Do Propel Parts carry bonded or sealing washers as well?
Yes. If your application requires a sealing washer, Propel Parts also carries the 5R7137 Bonded Sealing Washer, which combines a metal washer with an elastomeric seal for applications where fluid-tight fastening is required.
