About the CAT D6M-XL Undercarriage

The Caterpillar D6M-XL is a medium-weight crawler dozer built for grading, land clearing, and heavy pushing applications. Its undercarriage uses a 7.50" pitch track system with 3/4" bolt diameter, 119mm link height, and 65.0mm bushing O.D. Caterpillar offered the D6M-XL with both a conventional track undercarriage and the SystemOne sealed and lubricated track system. Because SystemOne components are not interchangeable with conventional components, it is important to confirm your machine's configuration before ordering. If you are converting from SystemOne to Conventional, all undercarriage components — including track chains, shoes, rollers, idlers, and sprocket segments — must be replaced simultaneously.
